Bosnian kilim Listaš is a hand woven ethnic carpet, the national symbol of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It takes several months to complete the carpet (kilim) by one woman. Never been used NEW, well kept and stored, has been made 15 years ago. Average durability of Bosnian kilim (bosanski ćilim) is 300 years under use. Pattern is leaves with extra cheerful colors, can cheer any home. Please note, those kilims have anti allergy and therapeutic effect. Also are the part of an oriental culture and history of Otoman Impery in Bosnia. Processing contrary to Perssian is originally Bosnian as it has been made of sheep wool that has been known only for the climate under Bosnian sky. Those sheep are rare, very hardy, used to different temperatures from extra minus to extra plus and are known to hold on extra conditions. Thats why this wool is not some soft quality on the international scale and not that popular but is very durable as these kilims can last for more than 200 years in use.
